Latin Grammy-nominated composer, producer, and songwriter from Mexico known for her versatile sound.

She was awarded best composition at the GEMS Film Scoring Workshop by composers Christopher Young (The Grudge, Spiderman 3), Gary Schyman (Bioshock, Torn) and orchestrator Pete Anthony (Us, The Hunger Games). Most recently, she has scored the documentary about the legendary Mexican Band, ‘Los Tigres del Norte’ (Amazon Prime), ‘All the Places’ (Netflix), ‘Snag’ (Paramount), and provided additional music on the HBO Original, ‘Unveiled’.

Recent collaborations include PNAU, Gayle, Lyn Lapid, Sofia Reyes, Estevie, and Natalia Lacunza. Recent releases include Nicole Zignago (Warner Mexico), Fabio Capri (Interscope), Niko Rubio (Atlantic), Cuco (Interscope) and Mishaal Tamer. 

Maria is a prolific film composer who worked under James Newton Howard & Gustavo Santaolalla, and scored numerous feature films & docs as well as commercials.
